The lotus has long symbolised spiritual awakening, with its roots in the mud, it rises pure and radiant above the water. In this work, the lotus held within a hand becomes an offering, a gesture of openness to the unfolding of awareness.

The eye in the palm reflects inner vision and awakened perception, the ability to see with clarity and wisdom beyond ordinary sight.

Together, these symbols speak to the truth that awakening cannot exist without compassion. As the lotus rises, so too does the heart.
